A Note 2 God

So many around me fade-

Though you keep me standing, have I lost my place?

I’m strong in tears,

You hear my cries.

The more truth I see,

The more I’m found in lies.

No echo calls, no place feels like home-

Is it worth unmasking our world

When we scrutinize the unknown?

To rise within the role you’ve set,

I must meet myself in all I have not met.

You are there in every face.

They make us enemies,

You teach us grace.

Though confusion clouds the path ahead, and

I walk alone, my fears unsaid,

You offer me with the light of the flame,

Igniting my hope,

To rewrite the game.

I’ll heed my heart

Keeping my spirit alive

To be the Peace

That frees my mind.
